通常大部分的作法是用酒精和水作擦拭
但通常只能清除表面的黴菌
且因為皮革外層通常用上一層保護皮革的油蠟
而酒精屬於有機溶劑具有溶解油脂的特性
會使皮革有脫色情形的發生，因此不建議將酒精使用於皮件上
而收到清洗完成的鞋子盡量放在通風處
任何不常使用又潮濕的都容易發霉
所以還是多穿出門吧
這案件除了發霉,仔細看白色的地方也有掉色的情況
所以也有加強處理過
Mold on leather slippers
Mold somewhat resembles plants (though it is not one) and is composed of fungal mycelium. It adheres to the saying, ‘If you cut the grass but don’t remove the root, it will grow back when the spring wind blows.’ The common practice for mold removal is wiping with alcohol and water. However, this usually only removes the mold on the surface. Because leather is often coated with a layer of oil or wax to protect it, and alcohol is an organic solvent that dissolves fats, using alcohol can result in discoloration of the leather. Therefore, it’s not recommended to use alcohol on leather items. Once the shoes are cleaned, it’s best to keep them in a well-ventilated area. Items that are not frequently used and are kept in damp conditions are prone to mold growth. So, it’s better to wear them out more often. In this case, aside from the mold, there’s also some color fading on the white areas, which has been additionally treated.
